Thank you for taking the time to volunteer! AYSO Region 257 is unable to run without amazing volunteers. Since many hands make light work, your efforts do not go unnoticed!

Be sure to register to volunteer on your ayso257.org account. Once you have registered, you will want to complete all necessary trainings and certifications.

To do this, click on the VOLUNTEER button. Below there are 4 main components you will need to complete. Be sure to download ALL certificates in case they do not upload properly!

1) Risk Status Background Check (in orange). Complete an online background check through Sterling Volunteers. (After submitting your volunteer application, look for an email from [email protected]. You must follow the link in the email to initiate the background check.) This must be done each year. If your status shows Gray for more than 48 hours, you MUST send an email to [email protected]. To expedite the process AYSO asks you to include your full name, Region Number (257), and your username in the body of the email.

2) 3 trainings at AYSOU (in green) found by clicking on the AYSOU link below.

3) SafeSport training (in red) found by checking the box next to SafeSport and then clicking on Renew & Update. From there you will see the link to go to and complete this training.

4) Coaching License. This will come in 2 parts. i) the online course for the age group(s) you are coaching and ii) the in-person coach training/meeting we will be conducting prior to the season!
